GA’s Residential Green Building Code Task Force

KSG is a member of two working groups for Georgia’s new Residential Green Building Code Task Force. The Department of Community Affairs (DCA) is spearheading the process of adopting the Residential Green Building Standard (ICC 700) as a statewide voluntary code. GA will be one of the first states to have a green building code. The code will go into effect January 1st, 2011 and local jurisdictions will be able to adopt it as mandatory code.
