New Web Host

We recently made the switch to a new web hosting company called FatCow. Aside from the simple fact that the services are competitively priced and the support has been great, I love the fact that they are 100% wind powered! Although they don’t actually own the wind turbines, they have purchased Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to offset their energy use. RECs represent the environmental benefits of wind energy, and reduce the amount of electricity in the energy grid that’s produced by fossil fuels.

Because of this we’re now adding two new badges to the site. The first is stating simply that FatCow is our host and the second that we’re powered by wind energy.
